I'm a final-year Computer Science student at IIIT Kalyani with a strong interest in building things that matter — both at the application layer and at the cryptographic foundation beneath it.

During my research internship in post-quantum cryptography, I implemented and analyzed Information Set Decoding algorithms such as Prange, Stern, BJMM, and Guo for solving the Syndrome Decoding problem. I also studied their quantum variants and evaluated their impact on the security of McEliece-based cryptosystems.

Beyond research, I freelance as a full-stack developer, lead Freescape (IIIT Kalyani's open-source club) as Secretary, and co-organized Status Code 2, East India's second-largest student hackathon.

I also write poetry. Not everything has to be a system.

Research Intern — Post-Quantum Cryptography

  • Implemented and analyzed classical Information Set Decoding (ISD) algorithms including Prange, Lee-Brickell, Stern, Finiasz-Sendrier, MMT, BJMM, and Guo ISD for solving the Syndrome Decoding problem in code-based cryptography.
  • Evaluated the computational complexity, work factors, and parameter trade-offs of state-of-the-art ISD techniques used in security assessments of code-based cryptosystems.
  • Studied and benchmarked quantum-enhanced variants of ISD algorithms, analyzing the impact of quantum search techniques on decoding complexity and post-quantum security estimates.
  • Conducted experimental validation and performance analysis to compare classical and quantum attack costs against code-based cryptographic schemes relevant to post-quantum cryptography.
